A generic version of the antidepressant Remeron is available under the name mirtazapine. Oral tablets are available in the same strengths as for the brand-name drug, including 15 milligrams (mg), 30 mg and 45 mg. Generic versions are also available for Remeron SolTab, tablets that dissolve on your tongue and are useful for people who have trouble swallowing a pill whole.
