Do NOT use zonisamide if you have an allergy to it. Your doctor needs to know if you are allergic to sulfa drugs (called sulfonamides), such as those used to treat diabetes or any of the following health conditions: depression or suicidal thoughts, kidney or liver problems, brittle bones, diarrhea or growth problems. If you are pregnant or become pregnant while using zonisamide, tell your doctor.
