What are the side effects of Dilantin Infatabs?

Dilantin, in the Infatab dosage form, can cause a number of side effects, including nervousness, slurred speech, poor coordination, confusion, excessive growth of the gingiva, breathing or speaking problems. Other side effects that occur in a small number of people using the medication include: uncontrolled movement of the face and arms, spasms of the eyelids and shakiness in the arms, legs, feet or hands. Some people also report being unable to move their eyes or to control their facial expressions. Additional side effects can include: bleeding gums, skin rashes, gland problems and symptoms commonly associated with a cold. One of the more common side effects is the inability to fall asleep.
