It is also effective in reducing secretion of stomach acid and motion of the stomach and intestines. The combination of belladonna alkaloids and phenobarbital is prescribed under a variety of brand names including Barbidonna, Donnatal, Donnatal Extentabs, Haponal, Hyonatol, and Hyosophen.
