How should I take levetiracetam?

Levetiracetam comes in tablet and liquid form. Take it exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you take levetiracetam tablets, do not crush or break them. If you take the liquid solution, measure it precisely; your pharmacist may provide a measuring spoon. Levetiracetam can be taken with or without food, but it should be taken at the same time every day. Store levetiracetam at room temperature, away from light, moisture, and heat. It is important that levetiracetam be kept away from children.
