How should I take Sabril?

Sabril, or vigabatrin, is a prescription medication taken by mouth to treat seizures. It is prescribed in tablet or powder form. Sabril is often prescribed with other medications. Proper timing and dosage are crucial to minimize drug interactions, maximize drug effectiveness, and balance risks. Powder forms of Sabril should be mixed with cool water just before taking. Use only the syringe provided with the prescription. Take it with or without food, but do not mix the medication into food. Talk to your doctor before stopping Sabril. Suddenly stopping is dangerous and can increase the severity of seizures.
