Who should not use Hep-Lock U/P?

Anyone allergic to any ingredient in Hep-Lock U/P or to pork products shouldn't use this medication. People with uncontrolled bleeding should not use Hep-Lock U/P. The prescribing doctor needs to know if the patient has a bleeding disorder, a stomach or intestinal disorder, high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease or a heart infection called bacterial endocarditis.
