What are the side effects of argatroban?

The most serious side effects of argatroban are associated with its effects on blood clotting. If you are bleeding excessively, particularly from somewhere unusual, such as your nose or gums, get medical attention immediately. You may also see blood in your urine, stool, mucus or vomit. Other serious side effects include: problems urinating, flu-like symptoms, coughing, chest pain, depressed heart rate and respiration, numbness or sensory disturbances, such as weakened vision and balance. Argatroban can also cause headaches and nausea.
