Can breastfeeding women take Fragmin?

Fragmin prevents blood clots, and treats heart attacks and chest pain. But it’s thought that this medicine may pass into breast milk. It’s not yet known if this can harm nursing babies. Studies suggest that only very small amounts of the drug are excreted. Breastfeeding women should first talk with their doctors before taking this drug.
