What are the side effects of besifloxacin ophthalmic suspension?

Side effects of using besifloxacin ophthalmic suspension may include: eye pain, itching or redness; irritated eyes; blurry vision; or headaches. More severe side effects may include: severe eye irritation after using the drops; severe eye redness or swelling; fever or signs of a new or intensified infection; draining or crusting of the eye; or feeling as if something is in your eye. Though rare, there is also a possibility of an allergic reaction to this drug. Symptoms of an allergy could include: trouble breathing, hives or swelling of the face, tongue, lips or throat. Seek medical attention if you experience allergy symptoms or any severe side effects.
