Who should not receive gentamicin injection pediatric?

In order to avoid potential complications or side effects, children with the following conditions should not receive gentamicin injection pediatric:
  • allergies to any ingredient in this medication or other aminoglycoside antibiotics
  • kidney problems
  • immune system problems
  • neuromuscular disorders
  • hearing loss
  • severe dehydration
