There are many side effects of silver sulfadiazine. The most common side effects include: burning, hives, itching, rash, redness, skin discoloration and pain. More severe side effects include: abnormal bleeding or bruising, sore throat, fever, blood in your urine, yellow eyes and skin, sore joints and unusual fatigue and weakness. Seek emergency medical services immediately if you experience difficulty urinating. Call 911 for allergic reactions, such as difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest and swelling of the mouth, face, lips or tongue.
