What is Klaron (sulfacetamide sodium)?

Klaron (sodium sulfacetamide) is a prescription antibacterial lotion that is used to treat acne. It is also used for a variety of bacterial skin problems, including dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and other infections. Klaron is thought to work by interfering with a specific process necessary for bacterial growth, and works best when applied only to a small area of skin. Avoid getting any of it in your nose, mouth or eyes.
