What are the side effects of Altabax?

Seek medical attention immediately if you notice symptoms of an allergic reaction, such as trouble breathing, itching, hives or swelling in the mouth, tongue and face. Stop using Altabax and call your doctor if you notice irritation around the infected area of your skin. Monitor your skin for burning, itching, swelling, oozing, blistering, pain or redness. If any side effects become worse when you take Altabax, call your doctor. You may experience diarrhea or headaches while using this medication. These are less serious side effects and you should call your doctor if they persist or worsen. If you get other infections while you are using Altabax or if you notice changes in your skin, call your doctor.
