Who should not use silver sulfadiazine?

If you have liver or kidney disease, you may not be able to use silver sulfadiazine. You also should be cautious about using silver sulfadiazine if you have any type of allergic reactions to silver sulfadiazine or other foods and medications. Also, exercise caution if you plan to breast-feed or are pregnant. Talk to your doctor about your health concerns and any medications that you are taking, prior to using silver sulfadiazine.
