Less serious side effects of pirbuterol include tremors, dizziness, diarrhea, cough, dry mouth, irritated throat, headaches, weakness, upset stomach and nervousness. If these side effects become severe or won't go away, call your doctor. Call 911 for emergency medical help if you have a fast or irregular heartbeat or chest pain after taking pirbuterol or if you have symptoms of an allergic reaction, such as hives, itching, trouble breathing or swelling of your face, lips, mouth, tongue or throat.
