What should I avoid while taking Asmanex?

Asmanex (mometasone) can lower your white blood cell count, so you're more susceptible to illness and infection. Avoid others who are sick and, in particular, anyone with chicken pox or the measles, which can become serious or even life-threatening when you're on Asmanex. You should also avoid becoming pregnant or breastfeeding, as studies have not determined the drug's effects on a fetus or breastfeeding infant.
