Does theophylline anhydrous injection interact with other drugs or foods?

There may be restrictions on what you eat or drink before receiving theophylline anhydrous injection viaflex, so check with your doctor. To avoid an interaction, be sure your doctor knows what prescription drugs you are taking as well as any vitamins, supplements, and over-the-counter medicines. Do not take the following drugs with theophylline unless you have consulted with your doctor: thiabendazone, St. John's wort, rifampin, propranolol, fluvoxamine, erythromycin, ephedrine, enoxacin, cimetidine, or carbamazepine. Avoid foods and drinks that contain caffeine.
