How soon after taking Singulair (montelukast) will my symptoms improve?

In clinical trials, the effects of Singulair (montelukast) were noticed after the first dose, however, the medication can take about three to seven days to start working. Even if you experience a big reduction in your asthma attacks and symptoms or allergy symptoms, do not stop taking Singulair.
