How soon after taking Accolate will my symptoms improve?

Accolate works by helping to block the action of certain chemicals responsible for some types of asthma. It begins working soon after you take it. You may expect the best relief about three hours after you take it. The time it takes for people to feel a change in symptoms may vary. Accolate should be taken at the same time each day, even if you don't have asthma symptoms.
