What are the side effects of salmeterol?

Salmeterol has a number of potential side effects. These include: back pain, tremors, sore throat, asthma, bronchitis, chest congestion, dizziness, diarrhea, headaches, nasal inflammation, cough, skin pallor, respiratory tract or sinus infection, sinus headaches and stomach pain. Various prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins and herbs also may interact negatively with salmeterol. Be sure to discuss all of your health concerns with your doctor before taking salmeterol.
