Who should not use Elocon ointment (mometasone)?

Elocon (mometasone) is a prescription drug and should not be used unless under a doctor's care. Those who have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in Elocon ointment should not use it. Women who are nursing or pregnant should not use Elocon ointment. Elocon ointment should not be used for diaper rash or for skin problems other than the one it was prescribed for.
