Who should not take zileuton extended-release tablets?

Zileuton should not be used by anyone with allergies to the drug, with any kind of liver condition or who is taking pimozide. If you drink alcohol, have any history of liver problems or mental or mood conditions, or have any other food or drug allergies, your condition may be complicated by the use of this drug. Talk to your doctor about all medications, as drug interactions may require you to change dosage or prevent you from using zileuton extended-release tablets. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take zileuton extended-release tablets without discussing with their doctor first.
