Is Xolair inhaled?

No, Xolair (also known as omalizumab) is not inhaled. It is an injection given to you by a healthcare provider at your doctor's office once every two to four weeks. Xolair is used to treat asthma in patients who have tested positive on an allergy skin test. You should only use Xolair if you have tried inhaled asthma medicines and found that they did not work well for you.
