Does Theolair interact with other medications or foods?

You can take Theolair (theophylline) with or without food, but avoid foods or drinks containing caffeine. This drug may interact with other medications, so make sure your doctor knows what prescription drugs you take, including vitamins, supplements and over-the-counter medicines. Do not take Theolair with the following drugs unless you have checked with your doctor: thiabendazole, St. John's Wort, rifampin, propranolol, fluvoxamine, erythromycin, ephedrine, enoxacin, cimetidine or carbamazepine.
