How does Pernox Scrub Cleanser interact with other drugs or food?

Although little is expected to be absorbed into the bloodstream, Pernox Scrub Cleanser (salicylic acid-sulfur) could interact with oral anticoagulant medications, such as warfarin, sulfonylureas, methotrexate or aspirin and can facilitate the side effects of these medications. Pernox Scrub Cleanser should not be used with topical medications containing mercury, none of which are available in the US at this time. The combination may irritate the skin, turn it black or produce an odor. Pernox Scrub Cleanser is not known to interact with food.
