Who should not use clindamycin phosphate tretinoin?

People who have Crohn's disease, colitis or allergies to the ingredients in clindamycin-tretinoin, other lincomycins or other retinoids, should not use it. Those who are breast-feeding or who have had antibiotic-associated colitis in the past should also not use clindamycin-tretinoin. Additionally, pregnant women should talk with their doctors about the risks with using clindamycin-tretinoin before doing so. Parents of children under 12 years of age should do the same.
