What should I avoid while using clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide?

Using clindamycin-benzoyl peroxide topical medication can make your skin more sensitive to UV rays. Avoid long periods of sun exposure and always use a sunscreen of at least 15 SPF. Also, avoid getting the gel on your clothes or hair because it can bleach exposed areas. Avoid using hair removal products, dying your hair, using strong soaps and shampoos and skin products that contain alcohol, astringents, spices or lime. You may also want to avoid breastfeeding while using this product. Talk to your doctor about the risks of using clindamycin-benzoyl peroxide.
