Before using Plexion, you should be aware of the following safety information:
  • Before starting this medication, be sure to tell your doctor if you have ever had an allergic reaction to sulfur, foods or preservatives, sodium sulfacetamide, or other drugs.
  • Do not use Plexion if you have kidney disease.
  • Do not use Plexion on a child under age 12 without a doctor's recommendation.
  • Although Plexion is applied topically, it is best to speak to your doctor before using if you are pregnant or nursing, as its ingredients could be passed on to a fetus or breastfeeding baby.
