Who should not take Nebupent?

Before taking NebuPent (pentamidine isethionate), tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or if you plan to become pregnant. Tell your doctor if you have ever had an allergic reaction to pentamide isethionate or to any other medications, foods or substances.

You may not be able to take this medication if you have recently undergone radiation or chemotherapy or if you have any of the following conditions:
  • diabetes
  • dietary restrictions
  • heart problems
  • a history of dehydration
  • asthma
  • pancreatitis
  • kidney disease
  • circulation or blood pressure problems
