Common side effects include: swelling, fever, strange feelings in the skin on your face, nausea, and vertigo. These generally do not require medical attention unless they become severe. More serious side effects include: headaches, dizziness, feeling unstable, weakness, any changes in hearing, numbness, itching, vomiting, any vaginal changes, decreased urination, lightheadedness, hives and any other signs of a serious allergic reaction. If you have been given streptomycin and experience these or other worrisome side effects, you should see a doctor as soon as possible.
