What are the basic side effects of tinidazole?

There are a variety of fairly common side effects that occur with tinidazole (Tindamax). Among them:

  • loss of appetite and/or vomiting
  • stomach pains or cramps
  • constipation
  • headaches
  • sharp, metallic taste in your mouth

These are a few. Make sure to get a complete list from your doctor (the warning that comes with your medicine also lists more side effects). If these don't go away within a few days, or they're too difficult to cope with, call your doctor and find out what to do. Do not simply stop taking the medicine.
