What are the side effects of MetroGel Vaginal?

Using MetroGel Vaginal may cause side effects like stinging or mild burning when the gel is applied; cramps or pelvic pain; insomnia; upset stomach; constipation; vomiting; loss of appetite; acne; sweating more than usual; runny nose; dizziness; frequent urination; and breast enlargement or discharge. More serious side effects include convulsions; seizure; or tingling, burning, numbness, or pain of your hands or feet. It is possible to have a serious allergic reaction to this gel. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include hives, itching, trouble breathing, or swelling of the face, tongue, lips, or throat. Seek medical attention if you experience any severe side effects.
