Taking pyrantel with alcohol can increase dizziness and other side effects of the drug. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, you should talk to your doctor before taking pyrantel because its effect on a developing fetus is unknown. It is also unknown if the drug passes through breast milk to a nursing infant.
