What are the more severe side effects of tinidazole?

It's unusual for the more severe side effects of tinidazole (Tindamax) to develop, but you should always watch out for them.

  • rash or hives
  • swelling of feet, ankles and lower legs
  • numbness/tingling in hands/feet

If any of these develop, call your doctor immediately or have someone call for you.

Severe reactions include:

  • seizures
  • swelling of the face, throat, tongue or lips
  • hoarseness or difficulty swallowing

Call 911 immediately for any of these symptoms.
