What should I know before using Aczone Gel?

Do not allow the gel to enter your nose, eyes, mouth, or vagina. If the gel touches any of these areas, cleanse with cool water. Contact poison control if the gel is taken by mouth. Do not use other skin care products without a doctor's approval. If you discontinue Aczone Gel (dapsone), do not resume use without a doctor's approval.

Inform your doctor of any supplements, herbs, and over-the-counter and prescription medications you are taking. Your doctor needs to know about any allergies, liver disease, anemia, or glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency.
