How should I take isoniazid, pyrazinamide and rifampin?

You must take isoniazid-pyrazinamide-rifampin (Rifater) exactly as directed by your doctor. The doctor will base the number of tablets you take on your body weight. The dose will be taken once each day, every 24 hours. Make your best effort to not miss any doses and do not stop taking it until your doctor instructs you to stop. You should take isoniazid-pyrazinamide-rifampin when your stomach is empty, at least one hour before or two hours after eating food but with a full glass of water. Do not take antacids for an hour after you take isoniazid-pyrazinamide-rifampin.
