How does pyrimethamine interact with other medications or foods?

Pyrimethamine (Daraprim) may interact with aurothioglucose, auranofin, gold sodium thiomalate, methotrexate, sulfamethoxazole, trimethoprim, zidovudine, and lorazepam. Your doctor may not prescribe these medications together with pyrimethamine, or may alter your dosages. Pyrimethamine may interact with other substances, so tell your doctor all medications you are taking, including prescriptions, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and supplements.
