Side effects of enfuvirtide include: loss of appetite, weight loss, changes in the ability to taste food, flu-like symptoms, runny nose, sinus pain, swollen glands, tiredness, depression, insomnia, nervousness, diarrhea, warts, cold sores, swollen glands, painful, red or teary eyes. Other side effects may include: itching, swelling, discomfort, redness, bruising, other abnormalities at the site of injection, constipation and pain in the feet or legs. Some side effects of enfuvirtide are serious and require you to contact your doctor immediately. These include: nerve pain, a prolonged or severe reaction at the injection site, fever, chills, cough, flu-like symptoms, chest congestion, fever, cough, shortness of breath, blood in the urine, vomiting, rash, pale or fatty stools, jaundice, blurred vision, fainting and dizziness. Enfuvirtide may also cause an allergic reaction. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: hives; swelling of the lips tongue, face or throat; difficulty breathing.
