Severe side effects and allergic reactions can occur while taking Kaletra. Seek immediate medical attention if signs of an allergic reaction occur: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat. Seek medical attention right away if any of the following occurs: dizziness; fainting; heart palpitations; a fever, sore throat, headaches; blistering red skin rash; bruising or bleeding; signs of a new infection; severe stomach pain; loss of appetite; dark urine; or yellowing of the skin or eyes. Less serious side effects of Kaletra that may not require treatment include: mild stomach upset, numbness or tingling around the mouth, a mild rash, headaches, mood changes and changes in body fat distribution. If you are concerned about any other side effects you may be experiencing while taking Kaletra, you should notify your doctor.
