Who should not take Diastat?

Anyone with an allergy to any ingredient in Diastat, especially the active ingredient diazepam, should not take it. Women who are pregnant should not take Diastat. Women who breastfeed an infant should either stop breastfeeding or not take Diastat. People with sleep apnea or other respiratory difficulty should not take Diastat.
