Who should not use Caldecort?

If you have an allergy to hydrocortisone or other ingredients in Caldecort, you should not use this topical medication. Do not use Caldecort to treat symptoms of skin irritation on children unless prescribed by your child's doctor. You should not use Caldecort without first talking to your doctor if you are already using other prescription medications to treat your skin condition. Although little is expected to be absorbed into the bloodstream, you should not use Caldecort if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without discussing the risks with your doctor.
