Who should not use Temovate gel?

You should not use Temovate gel (clobetasol) if you have rosacea, perioral dermatitis or allergies to ingredients in Temovate or similar medications. Be sure to discuss your medical history with your doctor before using Temovate gel, especially if you suffer from Cushing's syndrome, skin infection, hyperglycemia, diabetes or open wounds in areas where the drug is needed. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should discuss the risks of using Temovate gel with a doctor before using. Temovate should not be used by children under 12 years of age without a doctor's recommendation.
