Who should not use Cordran tape?

Anyone who is allergic to Cordran should avoid the tape. People who have had certain medical conditions might have unhealthy reactions to it. These include: the measles, chicken pox, diabetes, tuberculosis, eye conditions like glaucoma or cataracts, shingles and disorders of your circulation or immune system. Similarly, certain medications, such as steroids, vaccinations and chemotherapy treatments, might react poorly with it. Additionally, women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult with their doctor, as the steroid could harm the fetus or nursing infant. Also, you should not use Cordran tape if the area being treated is in a fold of skin or is secreting fluid.
