Who should not use clobetasol shampoo?

People who have rosacea, perioral dermatitis or allergies to the ingredients in clobetasol shampoo or similar medications should not use it. Children and teenagers under 18 years of age should not use this medication due to the increased risks of developmental problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should discuss the risks they would be taking by using clobetasol shampoo with their doctors before doing so. Be sure to discuss your medical history with your doctor thoroughly before using clobetasol propionate scalp application, especially if you suffer from Cushing's syndrome, skin infection, hyperglycemia, diabetes or open wounds where the drug is needed.
