What are the side effects of Temovate gel?

There are many possible side effects of Temovate gel. Common side effects include: pain, redness, stinging, burning, itching and cracking of the skin; and color changes of the skin. If these symptoms do not go away, call your doctor.

More serious side effects include: weak or thinning skin, numbness in the fingers, hair loss, infected hair follicles, unexpected bruises, severe skin reactions or color change, crusty or oozing rash, difficulty swallowing, cough, changes in voice, soreness or achiness, red facial welts, fatigue, congestion, fever, swollen neck glands and headaches. If you have these symptoms, call your doctor right away.

Signs of a severe allergic reaction include: labored breathing, chest pain and facial, tongue or throat swelling. If you have a severe allergic reaction, this is a medical emergency, call 911.
