What are the side effects of desoximetasone?

Desoximetasone can cause a variety of side effects. If you have any side effects that do not go away, stop using the medicine and call your doctor. Side effects may include itching, dryness, burning, sores or pimples, redness and lighter skin color. Some side effects can be signs of a serious condition, and you'll need to call a doctor right away. These side effects include: hives; acute skin irritation or signs that desoximetasone has absorbed through your skin, including trouble seeing or seeing blurry lights, altering moods, problems sleeping, gaining weight, muscles that feel weak, puffy face or fatigue. If you have a severe allergic reaction or symptoms like swelling in the face or difficulty breathing, this is a medical emergency. Call 911.
