What should I tell my doctor when taking Finacea?

Before taking Finacea, you should talk with your doctor. Include all prescription and over-the-counter medicines and supplements in your talk. Your doctor or healthcare provider may also need to know:

• If you have allergies, including those for azelaic acid or other medicines
• Any medical conditions you have or had
• If you’re pregnant, planning to be or breastfeeding. You should tell your doctor if you become pregnant while taking Finacea.
• If you have any skin color changes. Azelaic acid may cause changes in skin color, especially in dark complexions.
