Hydrocortisone butyrate is a corticosteroid used to reduce swelling and itching caused by a variety of skin disorders. It is prescribed under the names Locoid, Locoid Lipocream, and Locoid Lotion and may be used to treat eczema, allergic rashes, psoriasis, or seborrheic dermatitis.
