What should I know about Capex Shampoo before using it?

Capex Shampoo is provided in a two-part package that contains fluocinolone acetonide powder and a separate package of liquid shampoo which will be mixed together before dispensing it to you. The shampoo should be shaken before use. One ounce is applied and rubbed to a lather and left on the scalp for five minutes, then rinsed. If absorbed, fluocinolone acetonide may be harmful to a fetus. It is not known if it is passed to a nursing infant through breast milk. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or a nursing mother, before using this product. Discuss the use of this drug with your doctor if you have had a recent vaccination or positive tuberculin skin test, or if you have the measles, chicken pox or tuberculosis. Also, speak with your doctor if you have a skin infection, thinning or hardening of the skin or a skin infection. Corticosteroids are absorbed more easily in children and may affect the growth rate of children and teenagers.
